Our Bird Nesting Material is crafted from 100% British sheep wool sourced from native and rare breed Orkney flocks.
Thick and warm, it provides excellent insulation, helping garden birds build protected, cozy nests. Ideal for any nesting bird, this wool supports their efforts to keep eggs and chicks safe from the cold.
Simply fill a bird suet block holder with the wool and hang it at least 1.5m off the ground to offer valuable nesting support during breeding season.
Our Bird Nesting Material carries a gentle, natural sheepy scent, a result of the year-round grass pastures and the lanolin in the fleece. Each fleece displays beautiful shades of creamy white, brown, black, or grey, reflecting the unique colors of our rare breed sheep. This natural variety adds warmth and comfort, providing essential insulation to help support your garden birds during nesting season.
