Description
New to the UK, the 276 Litre Black Wall Tank is a top-notch and durable rain barrel that saves water by attaching to walls.
It has a capacity of 320 litres (276l usable) and comes complete with tank, wall fixings, water level monitor, Harcostar Rain Trap downpipe connector and 2 taps.
Made of anti-UV treated polyethylene, it collects rainwater for various uses around your home and garden.
Tank Installation:
· Place on a hard, flat surface to the left or right of the your downpipe.
· Use the supplied 4 plugs, washers and screws when fixing to the wall.
· Make 4 holes in the designated points at the top of the barrel.
· Drill corresponding holes into the wall and insert the plugs.
· Affix the tank to the wall securely, using the screws and washers.
· To install the 2nd tap, drill a hole in the designated area using a 14mm drill.
· Attach the supplied transparent hose to an upward-facing tap, securing the other end to the recess at the top of the tank.
Rain Trap Connector Installation:
· Make a hole in the side of the tank
· Follow the instructions for the Harcostar Rain Trap connector to attach to the downpipe
· Drill a 1.5 cm hole (or 5 x 0.5cm holes) in the indicated areas (1 in the centre and 4 around the cap) and insert the filter and plant away!
*Be sure to empty the water butt in hard frosts and sub-zero temperatures
