Transform food waste into nutrient-rich compost with the Organko Essential Twin Pack Bokashi Bin.
Made from recycled plastics, this air-tight bin uses effective microorganisms to create pre-compost, naturally improving plant growth. Save money on fertilizer and make a positive impact on the planet with this revolutionary composting system.
The process is simple;
- Add your food waste to the Bokashi Bin each day
- Add Bokashi Bran each time
- Once full, leave the contents to work its magic for two weeks - NO PEAKING!
- During this time, you can drain off the liquid which is an amazing by-product full of goodness for your plants and soil
- While the 1st bin is sealed, move on to the 2nd Bokashi Bin to add your daily scraps to
- After two weeks, the contents are ready to transfer to your compost bin or dig into the soil.
- At this point, it still looks food waste but we call this pre-compost. Once added to the compost or soil, it breaks down really quickly and nourishes the surrounding earth or compost.
- It's a continuous cycle and once you've found your rhythm, you should be able to transform all of your food waste into a natural fertiliser for your garden!
