Description
Each tin contains 20 seed balls, covering approximately 1 m² of garden bed or 3–5 medium-sized pots. Leave at least 10 cm between each ball.
Made in North London with UK-grown, UK-native seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder. Each ball contains approximately 30 seeds from a mix of bellflower, forget-me-not, meadow buttercup, meadowsweet, oxeye daisy, ragged robin and red campion—all listed by the RHS.
Designed for areas with dappled sun or sun for part of the day, these wildflowers also grow well in full sun. They’re not suited to total shade. Scatter in spring or autumn.
The clay helps protect the seeds from wildlife. As water permeates the ball, the seeds can germinate, supported by nutrients and minerals in the mix. Chilli powder helps deter slugs and snails as the ball breaks down and the seeds sprout.
