Description
Introducing the 230 litre Grey Planter Water Butt with handy water level feature. New to the UK, this simple water butt is durable and made of recycled polyethylene.
It comes with a tap and a transparent hose to easily check the water level and can hold up to 230 litres of rainwater.
Once set up, you can add your favourite plant to transform your water butt into a beautiful garden feature!
WATER BUTT INSTALLATION:
• Place on a hard, flat surface
• Drill a hole in designated section on the side of the water butt you have chosen to attach to the downpipe.
• Follow the instructions on your downpipe connector to attach to the downpipe
• Attach the supplied transparent hose to an upward-facing tap in the tap hole, securing the other end to the recess at the top of the barrel.
LID INSTALLATION:
• Locate the lid cap and filter
• If you are using just as a lid, place the cap into the hole to close the hole
• If you want to use the water butt as a planter, simply turn the lid over.
• Drill a 1.5 cm hole (or 5 x 0.5cm holes in the indicated areas - 1 in the centre and 4 around the cap), insert the filter and get planting!
*Be sure to empty the water butt in hard frosts and sub-zero temperatures
