Description

Fit for any kitchen, this stylish Bokashi Bin system will help to transform all of you food waste, including meat, fish, cooked food and cheese into nutrient-rich compost.

Bokashi is a Japanese term meaning fermented organic matter. It can refer to either a liquid or bran based material that has been fermented with EM (friendly bacteria). Bokashi products are generally pleasant smelling and, when added to your bucket, are designed to accelerate the fermentation of organic matter.

This twin pack will allow you to have two buckets working at once. When the first bucket is full you can start filling the second bucket letting the first one ferment for a couple of weeks.

Once treated, the fermented material can then be safely dug into your garden or placed in your compost bin.

The kit comes complete with everything you need to get started, including 1kg of our favourite Bokashi Bran, made at Lower Blakemore Farm in Hereford!
